In addition to being inexpensive, the quality of living here is quite high so your dollars will go much farther. Purchase a property that you can renovate yourself, such as a manor house on the outskirts of a village or an apartment on one of the many resorts. Whichever one you choose, you are within easy access of golf courses and the International airport of Faro. There are small apartments available in all the areas as well as apartments in high rise buildings in the cities. You will be amazed at the cost of buying and the process is no different here than it is in the UK.
